Home Schoolers Questionnaire We at Camp know that many families are choosing to
educate their children at home. Because you are a home school family, we also
recognize that you and your children may be interested in a Bible Camp with
educational programming that is offered other than in the Summer months. As
you will see on the following pages, Camp Sunrise is looking at the
possibility of having a camp designed specifically for home school families.
Your help in filling out the form below is greatly appreciated at this new
camping experience is prayerfully considered. Possible Programming Camp Sunrise is a small Christian camp and educational
ministry offering planetarium and museum programs and science lessons.
Currently we offer an array of 5 museum lessons. 60+ illustrated science
lectures and over 30 planetarium programs. This gives us a wide range of
programming possibilities when planning for a home school camp with an
educational emphasis. Timing and Length of Camp The current thinking is to offer a home school
camp in the mid fall when public school is in session. This home school camp
can follow several possible schedules, including, running for a week from
Sunday to Saturday as a traditional summer camp session would, or it could be
run as a long weekend starting on either Thursday or Friday and run until
Saturday evening. A third option would be to offer the camp as a family home
school camp with parents as well as children attending for either a week or
again a long weekend. Please these things in mind as you fill out the
